UPSilon 2000 provides management and monitoring of the UPS both locally and remote with user-friendly interface. Data such as input, output and battery voltage, electrical load amount, operating status, temperature, etc. is viewable through this software. Other than viewing Data log and Events log, transmitting them is possible as SMS (using a GSM modem), fax, over the phone warning message and also email to system admin and defined users. Computer auto shut-down signal can be sent in case of either input power failure or battery capacity reaching a defined value (definable in UPSilon 2000) and will be applied to all the computers with the software installed on them. Powering up and shutting down of the UPS can be programmed to occur at specific times (If supported by UPS).
Execution of a specific file or script is possible before automatic shutdown of client or server. This feature can be used to shut-down virtual machines in ESX servers.
The ability to send events set in the software via SMS to specific numbers provided with the GSM Modem or by email to defined emails is also provided in this software.
The UPS's various parameters (voltage and frequency of input and output, battery voltage, percentage and charge rate, local temperature, probable errors, etc.) with acceptable graphics are visible in this software.
